That’s how Glenroy describes himself as a DJ.  Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy.  Having grown up on Jamaica's eclectic combination of Reggae, Dancehall, Soca,  Calypso, Disco, Funk and Soul music, synth-infused 80s music, Hip-Hop and RnB… all which became infused with his new found love for both House and Dance music which he introduced to during time spent living in England, Glenroy ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence.  Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding bass lines, and sweet vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling beat.

 

A very active member of his local community, Glenroy is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene.  Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes.  As a former promoter, he has found that expressing himself musically should not be limited to just mixing tracks and should be accentuated by the ambiance he creates for his clients.
